Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean garments and linens

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Previous experince in Health Care Facility Environmental Services preferred.

Must be able to demonstrate ability to lift 50#'s

Interact effectively with residents of Long Term Care Facility. 

Knowledge concept of "Clean" and Basic hygiene princeples.
 
Knowldege of adjusting temperature valves and maintain appropriate temperatures as required

Placing garments and linens in drum of electrically powered washer

Placing garmets and linens in drum of electrically powered dryer

Transfer clothes from washer to dryer

Identify and report and malfunctions in equipment

Hang, fold, and stack garments and linens

Observe infection control procedrues related to the laundry department

Come to work as schedulred and consistently demonstrate dependability and puncutuality

Follow routine cleaning of equipment and work areas

Handle chemicals according to MSDS labels

Distibute closthes to residents rooms in accordance with the theft loss program
