Catering Associate
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Promotes customer satisfaction by courteous, confidential service. Resolves all customer requests in a timely manner.
Visits patients for daily menu selection, all patient food and diet related needs. Communicates diet-related needs to clinical team member.
Accurately completes patient tray process-Menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pickup as assigned, special request, in between meal delivery. Communicates changes to appropriate staff, honors patient preferences and completes the Retherm process.
Works cooperatively with team members, patients, and patient unit staff; coordinating customer services.
Adheres to department dress code.
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care in a hospital setting and/or 1 year minimum in foodservice is preferred.
Education
Knowledge equivalent to a high school education preferred
Licensure, Certification, Registration
None
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Must pass the health screening required by the Hospital.
Must be neat, clean, and practice good personal hygiene.
Must follow professional dress code.
Must be able to perform duties sitting, standing, and walking.
Must be able to frequently carry food, trays, supplies, etc. up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work accurately with details.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication, reads, writes, and speaks English.
